Position Overview:

Atkore is currently seeking an Electrical Program Coordinator - Contractors. This role involves direct collaboration with product managers and electrical sales teams, focusing on the project management and execution of program initiatives for Atkore's electrical contractors. The individual will identify, oversee, develop, and assist in the implementation of program components to support NECA, Electrical Training Alliance, and IEC. The primary goal is to enhance the Atkore Brand, introduce new products, and provide merchandising, promotions, tools, resources, and training to align with individual contractor strategies. This position will report to the Director of Commercial Programs and is expected to operate remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of essential program components for Atkore contractor initiatives related to NECA and the Electrical Training Alliance.
  • Manage and support Atkore's membership obligations for NECA, ELECTRI, and the Electrical Training Alliance.
  • Monitor the total annual expenditure associated with NECA and IEC contributions, sponsorships, advertising, meeting participation, and promotions.
  • Design and manage training programs intended for IBEW training centers.
  • Coordinate and support end-to-end events and planning.
  • Provide similar support to the IEC organization as necessary.
  • Enhance, maintain, and develop new processes and standard operating procedures to ensure productivity for launch communications, program project tracking, and root-cause-countermeasure metrics for contractor initiatives.
  • Track and document metrics to evaluate program components and understand available tools for metric determination.
  • Manage the quarterly contractor calendar and content for newsletters, webinars, field tool kits, and online modules for contractor organizations.
  • Oversee the content creation and development of training modules for products, programs, and tools for contractors.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for major conventions, committee meetings, and events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience in the electrical sector with a background in sales or marketing.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
  • Understanding of customer and channel requirements that inform the development of necessary tools, resources, and program support.
  • A capacity for a fast-paced environment; the ideal candidate thrives with multiple concurrent projects and values cross-functional collaboration.

Within the First 3 Months, You Will:

  • Complete your new hire orientation to prepare for your role.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders relevant to this position.
  • Gain familiarity with all Atkore systems, including JDE, Salesforce, Atkore University, and the Atkore portal.

Within 6 Months, You Will:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to complete projects.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Atkore Distributor Program, its components, and objectives.
  • Independently manage full program element projects.
  • Present professionally on the Distributor Program to sales teams and clients.
  • Analyze data, create metrics, and communicate results for each program component.

Within 12 Months, You Will:

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the electrical industry.
  • Independently create audience-specific content for distributors and contractors.
  • Effectively execute and deliver results on multiple projects.
  • Develop standardized processes and standard work for key distributor program components.
  • Fully own and serve as the primary contact for key program elements.
