Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) 1. This is an entry-level position that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, for an assigned group of patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications as prescribed and document medical justification and effectiveness.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.
- Assist with emergency response measures and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-management and independence.
- Collaborate with direct and ancillary patient care staff to ensure the delivery of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred).
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred).
