The Engineering and Maintenance Manager is a key professional responsible for overseeing the daily engineering activities and directing the maintenance of all machinery, equipment, and plant manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance procedures and inspections for all manufacturing equipment to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure that plant maintenance craft and contractors are trained to respond to emergencies and follow documented processes within the plant's policies and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the implementation of capital projects and create budgets to manage expenditures related to equipment installations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of five years' experience in engineering or maintenance management role.
- Proficient in capital project management and budgeting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong adaptability and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office programs.
- Proficiency in CMMS systems.
- Operating knowledge and experience of design software and engineering tools.
- Knowledge and experience in ERP systems, D365 preferred.
