About the Role

Sysco is seeking a highly skilled Master Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team. As a key member of our fleet maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles, including inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training and 4 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current and valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
  • ASE certifications in Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks (preferred).
  • EPA section 608 (Core & Type II) and 609 HVAC Refrigeration Certification.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent exposure to wet, hot, and humid conditions, as well as moving mechanical parts. You will also be required to work in confined spaces and may be exposed to high, precarious places.
