Position Overview

Compass Group USA is seeking a dedicated Catering Supervisor to oversee our catering operations. This role is essential in ensuring that all catering functions are executed seamlessly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the schedules of catering staff to guarantee timely delivery, service, and cleanup of all events.
  • Prepare and serve food at designated functions under the guidance of the Catering Director.
  • Manage logistics, including the transportation of food and beverages to event locations.
Essential Duties
  • Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
  • Engage with event leaders to finalize setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with clients and resolving any complaints.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items and instruct staff on service expectations.
  • Assist in setting up venues according to specifications.
  • Deliver food and supplies to the appropriate locations and serve guests during events.
  • Ensure proper presentation and temperature maintenance of food items while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all catering equipment and supplies.
  • Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license may be necessary. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by state regulations.
