Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ADC Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake Inc. As an ADC Attendant, you will play a vital role in our retail stores, accepting donations from customers, assessing the quality of merchandise, and pre-sorting items for resale or salvage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accept donations from customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assess the quality of merchandise and pre-sort items for resale or salvage
  • Load and unload trailers for shipment
  • Label gaylords accurately
  • Perform daily and nightly recovery of sales floor
  • Safely operate a pallet jack, pallet stacker, and forklift if applicable
  • Maintain a professional and flexible attitude, willing to take on different job responsibilities and assignments
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of material handling or customer service experience preferred
  • Current forklift operator certification or earned within 30 days of hire for locations requiring use of forklift
Working Conditions

Employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate.
