Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling machines, equipment, and their subassemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble product, following specifications, work instruction or blueprints.
  • Use of hand tools safely and effectively (tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc).
  • Align components, nuts, bolts, screws, etc.
  • Assist in testing completed product.
  • Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts.
  • Participate in daily area clean up and more significant facility clean-up efforts as assigned.
  • Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictates.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools such as tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
  • Ability to be cross trained in other functions.
