As a Sterile Processing Lead Technician at Providence Health & Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care by overseeing the cleaning, sterilization, and distribution of medical equipment and instruments. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, sterilize, and assemble medical equipment and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
- Oversee the coordination of work-flow of the technicians on your shift.
- Responsible for record-keeping and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
- National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
- National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
- 3 years Experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
