Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at PAGNY. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine ultrasound and vascular ultrasound procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms in a state of orderliness.
  • Introduce yourself to patients, confirm patient identification, and explain procedures.
  • Escort or transport patients to exam rooms and perform procedures as requested.
  • Present images to supervisors or attending physicians for review before discharging patients.
  • Obtain additional images as necessary and ensure all studies are tracked and images are pushed to PACS.
  • Fulfill other job-related functions as necessary or directed.
Requirements
  • ARDMS certification in Ultrasonography required.
  • Proven clinical competency in Abdominal, OB/GYN, Neonatal, and Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Responsible to maintain 30 CME credits within a 3-year rolling period for recertification annually.
  • Attend annual In-service and Continuing Education training.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 10am to 6pm, including 1 to 2 weekends a month. The successful candidate will be required to rotate through all tours, including weekends, and will be expected to practice infection control and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Benefits

This position is part of the 1199 union and offers benefits through the union. The salary for this position is $69,069.22.
