Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled nephrologist to join our team at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible physician to contribute to our Division of Nephrology and advance clinical excellence in the field.

About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research in nephrology. They will work closely with our experienced team of physicians and staff to deliver high-quality care to patients at our Lynchburg and Farmville locations.

This is a tenure-ineligible Clinical Faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, with compensation dependent on qualifications. The successful candidate will have opportunities for professional growth and development within our academic health system.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000-$300,000, depending on experience. We also offer a very competitive benefits package, including relocation assistance, medical malpractice insurance, and paid time off.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree, be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and have a commitment to clinical excellence and teaching. Excellent communication skills and experience working across disciplines are also essential.
