Job Summary

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation
    • Establish occupational therapy treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools
    • Consult closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies
  • Therapy Sessions and Documentation
    • Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate
    • Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with the individual and family to understand their values, interests, and goals
    • Implement programming that considers all aspects of the child, inclusive of, but not limited to sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities
  • Professional Development
    • Contribute to program development
    • Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Possess a master's degree in a related field
    • Hold a current and unrestricted license and/or certification that is required to practice within your clinical domain and obtain cross-state licensure in new states as indicated by the current business needs
  • Skills and Experience
    • Excellent clinical skills
    • Desire to work in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting
    • Flexibility and openness to learning
    • Appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches
    • Passion for working with children
    • Skilled at using software and systems including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products
    • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $85,600 to $107,000, depending on skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location. Additionally, we provide medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching and rapid vesting, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements for professional development and continuing education, and referral bonuses.
