About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our outpatient dialysis center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Monitor and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families
  • Participate in patient education on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexibility to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory
  • Healthcare experience a plus, including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification
