We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our outpatient dialysis center.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Monitor and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families
- Participate in patient education on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory
- Healthcare experience a plus, including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification
