Truck Driver CDL A No Touch Job Description

At Ryder System, we are seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a SOLO Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle to transport goods within a 250-mile radius or further.
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading process as required by customers.
  • Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are followed.
  • Participate in paid training and adhere to Ryder's safety protocols.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay rate of $28.84 per hour.
  • Weekly travel pay of $40.00 per night with traveling.
  • Per diem pay of $50.00 per night with 0-5 nights per week.
  • Overnights for route in Ryder booked hotel.
  • Paid training and company-provided fuel.

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL with verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Must have a valid CDL and endorsements for the position.
