About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by determining customer needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by answering questions and resolving issues
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers to drive sales growth and customer loyalty
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with company policies and procedures
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and setting up displays
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and assist with making deliveries as needed
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest ways to improve sales and customer service
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be able to tint paint consistent with customer color requests
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
