Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Feeder/Packer to join our manufacturing operations team. As a Feeder/Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth production of our products. Your attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to safety will be essential in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

• Assist in housekeeping during downtime, ensuring a safe working environment

• Inspect containers for quality defects before and after printing, and report any issues to the team

• Follow all plant and departmental safety practices, including bending, lifting, and housekeeping

• Sign or initial each tray pack label for shipping, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Collaborate with the Lead Printer to understand customer orders, product specifications, and quality criteria

• Understand and follow stack and quantity procedures, including tray labeling and product orientation

• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy

• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to follow directions and pass on important information

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous printing experience, with knowledge of printing processes and quality control

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, with a strong understanding of written and verbal instructions
