Academic Researcher Opportunity at Princeton University

The Industrial Relations Section (IRS) and the Department of Economics at Princeton University invite applications for the IRS Visiting Research Scholar position for the academic year. This opportunity allows researchers to spend the academic year at Princeton, pursuing their own research on any topic in labor economics.

Research Support

A small fund for research expenses will be provided to support the scholar's research endeavors. Additionally, visitors may participate in the University's teaching program, depending on departmental need and mutual agreement.

Financial Support

Visiting scholars from academic institutions often receive up to one-half their academic-year salaries from their home institutions for the appointment period. The amount that Princeton contributes to the scholar's salary is based on the financial support provided by their home institution.

Application Requirements

Applicants must apply online and submit a cover letter, CV, research paper or book chapter, and a brief research statement. Applications are welcome from individuals who will be on leave from full-time positions at universities or research institutions during the academic year.

Prerequisites

A Ph.D. is required for this position. The work location for this position is in-person on campus at Princeton University.
