We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Cybercrime Section in the California Department of Justice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal law and a minimum of two years of litigation experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and prosecute cybercrimes in California
- Provide legal support to regional high-tech task forces and rural counties
- Develop and present training programs on technology safety issues and legal updates
- Work independently on complex criminal cases involving technology-related crimes
- Active membership in The California State Bar
- Criminal trial experience
- Knowledge of economic crime, digital evidence, digital forensics, and cryptocurrency
- Competitive salary range: $8,588 - $12,925
