Key Responsibilities
- Delivers high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, utilizing critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Develops and implements individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or Compact licensure, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of previous experience in an emergency department as an RN, with a strong understanding of emergency nursing practices and protocols.
- Advanced certifications in emergency nursing, such as ACLS and PALS, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
