Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Procession Systems. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure communication systems to protect our network and data.


Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy secure communication systems, including cryptographic devices, network encryption appliances, and key management infrastructure.
  • Risk Assessment and Security Audits: Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop appropriate countermeasures.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement COMSEC policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate COMSEC solutions into the overall network architecture.
  • Cryptographic Key Management: Perform cryptographic key management, including key generation, distribution, rotation, and destruction.
  • Incident Response: Monitor and analyze network traffic for security incidents, intrusions, and unauthorized access attempts. Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement remediation measures.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated on emerging COMSEC technologies, trends, and threats, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  • Security Awareness and Training: Conduct security awareness training for network users and provide guidance on secure communication practices.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to ensure compliance with COMSEC regulations.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to secure communication systems.
  • Documentation and Support: Maintain accurate documentation of COMSEC procedures, configurations, and incident response activities. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve COMSEC-related issues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a COMSEC Network Engineer or a similar role, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure communication systems.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of network security technologies, protocols, and cryptographic algorithms. Knowledge of network monitoring and intrusion detection systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Clearance: Secret minimum.
