Job Title: Home Health Aide

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain their physical health and well-being.
  • Engage with clients through conversation, activities, and social interaction to promote their emotional well-being and prevent isolation.
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and grocery shopping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Ensure clients take their medications as prescribed and monitor their progress.
  • Aid clients with walking, transferring, and exercises to maintain their mobility and independence.
  • Accurately record client information, progress notes, and any changes in condition to ensure continuity of care.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $18.50 to $20.50 per hour, paid biweekly, plus bonuses for referrals and exceptional performance.
  • 5 sick days and holiday pay, ensuring you can take time off when needed.
  • Ongoing training and support, including in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Mileage reimbursement and free scrubs and PPE, making it easier to perform your duties.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • No professional experience required; family experience and/or professional caregiver experience is accepted.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and positive attitude towards clients and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans, prioritizing client needs and preferences.
