Nurse Practitioner

The night shift Nurse Practitioner role at Hopedale Medical Complex involves providing high-quality patient care in a peaceful rural setting. This position requires delivering planned and highly skilled nursing care to patients in the hospital and ICU. The successful candidate will assist physicians and other team members as directed by the supervisor.

• Assess and document patient status, ensuring accurate and timely records.
• Carry out treatments and/or orders, prioritizing patient care needs.
• Assist in positioning and/or transporting patients, promoting a safe environment.
• Record treatment, comments, and notes on the patient chart, alerting other personnel to all orders, problems, and other pertinent information.
• Administer medication, IV therapy, and drips as ordered, adhering to strict protocols.
• Discharge patients to home or other appropriate places accordingly and per physician's order.

• Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and have a valid Illinois nursing license.
• A current CPR/AED card (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required.
• ICU experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Must be willing to work overnight shifts, 6pm to 6:30 am.
