Exciting Newborn Hospitalist Position in North Dallas

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking board-certified or board-eligible pediatricians to join our dynamic and diverse neonatology practice in the North Dallas region. Our pediatricians collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes in-house neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and pediatric surgeons to deliver comprehensive care for newborns across various facilities.

Position Details:

  • Provide 10-hour in-house coverage in the newborn nursery with evening on-call duties from home.
  • Responsibilities encompass admissions and management of infants in the nursery, attending deliveries, transitional care, performing circumcisions, and consulting with families.
  • Deliver Level-I to Level-II newborn care at affiliated medical centers with an average daily census of 10-15 infants.
  • Access to neonatologist support and backup in high-risk scenarios.
  • Flexibility and a passion for learning and teaching are highly valued.
  • Engagement in educational and quality improvement initiatives is encouraged.
