About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at Cinemark. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our theatres and properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial personnel and supplies to ensure accurate coverage and effective quality control.
  • Conduct regular inspections of theatre and auditoriums to ensure compliance with cleaning and service standards.
  • Motivate and communicate with the janitorial team to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Guard against unauthorized personnel entering the building during non-operating hours and maintain theatre keys and outside doors.
  • Ensure adherence to proper social distancing guidelines and utilize Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Monitor safety and security issues and report to management.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of janitorial supervisory experience.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Requires regular and consistent attendance.
  • Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
  • Provides excellent guest service.
  • Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to take and follow direction.
  • Responds with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to maneuver in limited-space areas.
  • Ability to safely mix chemicals and dispose of used chemicals in compliance with state and local regulations.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Ability to carry, push, and pull objects.
  • Noise level may be moderate to high at times.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
