Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Wave Dental Specialists.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, assisting dentists with patient care, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols.
  • Assist dentists with patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and providing instrumentation.
  • Provide diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies.
  • Fabricate restorations and clean and polish removable appliances.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative instructions.
  • Document dental care services by charting in patient records.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by adhering to infection-control policies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one-year related experience and/or training in the dental profession.
  • Valid X-ray certificate.
  • Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
  • CPR & first aid certificate.
