As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will work on a rotating schedule, with day and night shifts available. The starting pay rate is $18.91/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

The Packaging Machine Operator (PMO) plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our packaging operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and adjusting 3-5 packaging machines to meet production standards.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational changes.
  • Performing scheduled tasks on a computer to track production metrics.
  • Setting up and running packaging equipment according to precise specifications.
  • Conducting product quality tests and collecting relevant data.
  • Responding to guidance from quality assurance and management teams.
  • Utilizing hand tools as necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Leadership Skills: The PMO is expected to exemplify company policies and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Troubleshooting Abilities: Capability to identify and resolve mechanical and automation issues.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills are necessary for production management and verification tasks.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially during quality checks.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to training schedules and participate in pre-shift meetings.
Physical Requirements:

The PMO role demands physical stamina, including the ability to:

  • Lift and move up to 60 lbs independently and team lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours, while maintaining a fast-paced work rhythm.
  • Perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
