About the Role

Bank of America is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our security engineering team, you will be responsible for leading multiple security engineering efforts that deliver enterprise security capabilities.

This role requires a strong technical background in cyber security, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. You will serve as a subject matter expert for one or more engineering initiatives and be the point of contact for clients to produce reporting as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for one or more engineering initiatives and is the point of contact for clients to produce reporting as needed
  • Defines major milestones, key performance metrics, and outcomes for engineering initiatives to aid in assigning tasks and mentoring security engineers
  • Leads the delivery of major engineering milestones and acts as the critical decision maker with regards to technical design and implementation
  • Identifies and raises risks or potential vulnerabilities at all stages of the security-engineering process
Requirements
  • 8+ years of Information Technology Engineering (e.g.: System, Network, Software)
  • Engineering Lead and/or people management experience
  • Excellent technical communication skills, ability to lead, influence and communicate at multiple organization levels
  • Security Development experience, specifically being able to lead developers who write security policies in multi-cloud technologies and understanding of cloud security products (e.g.: open policy agent, Sentinel, Rego, Terraform)
  • Cloud knowledge on one of the major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
