HR Assistant Job Description

Caribbean Food Delights, a leading manufacturer of Jamaican Style Patties, is seeking a bi-lingual HR Assistant to provide overall assistance in the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries
  • Handle employment application intake and new employee orientations
  • Maintain HR/personnel records and reports
  • Assist with recruitment, benefits administration, and FMLA/WC process
  • Provide clerical and operational support to the HR Manager
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year related experience
  • Associates Degree or equivalent
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
  • Competent computer knowledge and familiarity with federal and state regulations
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
