This 13-week engagement will provide a unique chance to work with our experienced staff and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification requirements.
  • Possess a valid Picture ID (State Driver's License, Passport, or State ID Card).
  • Hold American Heart Association ACLS certification for specified departments.
  • Be certified in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
  • Hold Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification for ER, PACU, Cath Lab, RT, SDS & all Pediatric RNs.
  • Be certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure for NICU, L&D, and Postpartum units.
  • Verify and provide a current professional license.
  • Provide proof of IV Certification (LVN/LPN/etc.) for some positions.
  • Obtain Fire Card for LA City facilities, EMTALA Manual & Acknowledgement review, Competencies Exam, and several Facility Specific Documents.

Additional Requirements

  • Complete Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam within 1 year of start.
  • Pass Color Blind Testing Online within 1 year of starting.
  • Complete Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam if applicable.
  • Complete certain documents such as CA Harassment Prevention Training Certificate and more.
