Bridge at Hickory Woods is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team as a Resident Care Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the medication program, including accuracy of medication assistance records (MARs) and providing hands-on medication assistance to residents.
  • Perform treatments according to physician orders and take vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and blood sugar.
  • Chart relevant information about residents and update physicians on any changes in their condition.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Order and reorder medications for residents from assigned pharmacies as needed.
  • Promptly respond to call lights and other requests from residents.
  • Provide report to staff for next shift and assist the Resident Care Director with supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active LPN license in good standing and maintain CPR certification.
  • One year of experience in senior services preferred.
  • Expert knowledge in field of practice and ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in an assisted living community.
  • Ability to implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the nursing department.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location: Bridge at Hickory Woods, a premier assisted living community.
