Job Summary

Shelby Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Alabaster, is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
  • Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and delivered
  • Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
Requirements
  • Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing
Education and Certifications
  • Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school
  • Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
  • Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation, or policy
