About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Registered to join our team at Ecumen Lakeshore. As a member of our care team, you will provide personal care and designated health-related services to our residents, following individualized care plans and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with treatments and activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, and transferring, as delegated by the Clinical Director.
  • Provide physical care to residents, monitoring vital signs and providing Range of Motion exercises, while encouraging independence and dignity.
  • Respond to safety hazards, call lights, and requests, and reassign duties as needed.
  • Report changes in resident condition, behavior, and level of independent functioning to the nurse.
  • Assist with admissions and discharges.
  • Report pertinent information and concerns regarding residents, families, staff, visitors, and building operations to appropriate personnel.
  • Accurately complete required documentation.
  • Partner effectively with others in a demanding and changing environment, supporting all employees within the community as directed by the Clinical Director or Registered Nurse.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant certificate
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility, including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations.
