Position Overview: As a Bariatric Nutrition Specialist, you will be instrumental in guiding patients with varied dietary requirements, particularly those undergoing bariatric and metabolic treatments. Your role will encompass engaging patients, their families, and other significant individuals in the educational and care processes.

  • Develop and implement nutrition education initiatives tailored for outpatients in a medical and surgical weight management program.
  • Serve as a key communicator between consulting physicians and healthcare staff to provide essential nutritional guidance to patients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess patient care needs and assist in the formulation, execution, and evaluation of holistic care plans.
  • Conduct informative patient education sessions, address inquiries, and support hospital personnel in educational and patient-related activities.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote nutritional awareness.

Qualifications:

Registered and licensed dietitian
