Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining echocardiography equipment, preparing patients for exams, and performing high-quality imaging procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures, including echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams and procedures
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Current certification as an Echo Technologist
- 2+ years of experience in echocardiography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
