Job Opportunity

The Liberty Group is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for demonstrating apartment homes and presenting the community to prospective residents, managing the leasing process from start to finish, and assisting with resident relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet prospects and qualify them by covering all criteria.
  • Record all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports.
  • Inspect models and available units, communicate related service needs to the Property Manager.
  • Provide community and apartment tours, applying product knowledge to client needs.
  • Present and assist the prospect in completing application and secure deposit in accordance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
  • Update availability report, process applications for approvals.
  • Ensure apartment is ready for resident to move-in on agreed date.
  • Follow-up on prospects that did not close and attempt to close sale again.
  • Secure new resident signature(s) on appropriate paperwork prior to move-in.
  • Assist in monitoring renewals and distributing renewal notices.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be familiar with apartment/multi-family leasing and Fair Housing.
  • Apartment software experience is a bonus.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in apartment leasing required.
  • Bilingual candidates are always in high demand.
