Emergency Department Profile:
- 14,000 Anticipated ER visits in the first year.
- Fully integrated with HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital.
- 24 hours of Physician Coverage.
- 10,000 square feet.
- 11 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma bay.
- Separate adult and pediatric waiting area.
- All private treatment rooms.
- State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology.
- Ambulance bay for EMS access.
- Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
HCA Florida Poinciana Medical Center is a four-story, 177,000 square foot hospital with a full staff compliment of anesthesia, cardiology, GI, general surgery, nephrology, pulmonary/critical care, ophthalmology, and hematology oncology services. Transfer agreements for all other specialties except ENT are facilitated through the partnered Level 2 trauma/Stroke and MI sister facility 25 minutes away. The facility features a 12-bed full tele state-of-the-art ED, complete with an EMS entrance and helicopter pad and 8 acute care beds.
