Job Summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will work with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to develop and implement specialized behavioral interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) principles.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 services to individuals
  • Completing Functional Behavioral Analyses (FBAs) and developing individualized Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Assisting individuals with developing adaptive behaviors that replace or modify challenging behaviors
  • Developing and promoting consistent implementation of Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) and Crisis Intervention Plans (CIPs)
  • Providing coaching and assistance to Direct Support Professionals to implement interventions stated in the BSP
  • Maintaining and updating FBAs, BSPs, and CIPs as needed
  • Submitting accurate and complete weekly online progress notes
