About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist II to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a Mammography Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography examinations under the direction of a Staff Radiologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
- Apply Mammography procedures independently, using independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative.
- Maintain a high standard of quality care and adhere to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.
- Ensure patient safety during examination.
- Explain procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.
Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- CPR certification required. ARRT required.
- IEMA certification.
- Mammography experience preferred.
- Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required; typing 25-35 wpm.
