About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in oncology nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
