Mammography Technologist

Join Middle Park Health as a Mammography Technologist and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art imaging department.

• Perform mammography procedures on patients following established protocols and guidelines.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and image quality.
• Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to ensure accurate imaging.
• Review and evaluate mammography images for quality and diagnostic value.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

• Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist.
• Proficiency in performing mammography procedures using various imaging modalities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation.
• Familiarity with other medical imaging techniques such as CT, PET scan, sonography, and Xray is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
