Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Ascension St. Vincent Carmel. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience as a licensed registered nurse preferred.
  • NRP required.
  • Experience in labor and delivery required.
