The Opportunity

The Security position is a vital part of our Facilities Team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our senior living community.

What You'll Do
  • Provide a visible presence to residents and potential intruders, promoting a sense of safety and security.
  • Operate wireless communications equipment to maintain seamless communication between Security and the office.
  • Monitor video feeds to stay vigilant and proactive in maintaining a secure environment.
  • Patrol hallways, buildings, and parking lots to ensure they are well-lit and resident vehicles are secure.
  • Ensure all doors are secured and locked in the evening, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies, providing assistance and support as needed.
  • Adhere to established safety procedures and maintain a current list of emergency contact numbers.
  • Keep accurate records of resident entries and exits after front doors are locked.
  • Answer incoming phone lines when the office is closed, providing a point of contact for residents and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information, upholding the trust placed in us.
  • In the event of an emergency, assist local emergency personnel as needed, ensuring a swift and effective response.
  • Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, ensuring resident safety, and maintaining effective communication.
What You'll Bring

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass State and Company background checks and drug screens.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant Security experience.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements for security guard positions is essential.
  • Make sound judgments and decisions within established policies and procedures.
  • Previous Security experience is desirable, with knowledge of legal requirements for security guard positions.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, responding effectively in unexpected situations.
