  • Analyzes financial documents, leases, and conducts extensive market research.
  • Evaluates properties using a variety of assessment techniques and defends valuations as necessary.
  • Stays informed about local property trends and appraisal methodologies.
  • Prepares detailed reports utilizing GIS technology and adheres to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications

Vocational/Educational Requirement: A bachelor's degree in real estate or a related discipline is essential.

Experience Requirement: A minimum of two years of full-time experience as an Appraiser I is required.

Special Certifications and Licenses: A valid driver's license is mandatory, along with completion of IAAO courses 101 and 300 within 18 months of employment.

Special Requirements: Flexibility to work additional hours during emergencies may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Senior Property Valuator – A minimum of two and a half years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Advanced Real Estate Assessor – A minimum of three and a half years of relevant experience is preferred.
