Job Title: Registered Nurse - Nursing Supervisor

At Equiliem, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Supervisor. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our nursing staff to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Center Nurse Executive to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure safe patient care.
  • Effectively utilize existing resources to minimize overtime and agency personnel.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, assessment, and development to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Assist with the Individual Performance Improvement Plan for staff whose performance does not meet center expectations.
  • Recommend and facilitate employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide timely and effective care consistent with individual needs and preferences.
  • Answer emergencies and provide support during critical situations.
  • Foster a strong partnership between the medical staff and the department of nursing.
  • Make recommendations regarding nursing care equipment and supplies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure a healthy practice environment.
  • Participate in meetings to address patient care, survey, and standards of care issues.
  • Assure building security during assigned shifts.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience, with a minimum of two years in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language.
Work Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with frequent interactions with patients, families, and staff. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
