Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Assembly and Inspection Specialist to join our team at NESCO Inc. As an Assembler/SMT Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Assemble electronic components and subassemblies with precision, following work orders, production drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Inspection: Utilize magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to inspect and verify that our products meet IPC-610 standards.
  • Testing: Conduct go-no-go testing and ensure that all parts and assemblies meet our production specifications.
  • Rework: Perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components as needed.

Requirements:

  • Skills & Abilities: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and work collaboratively with both co-workers and the public.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of electronic assembly and inspection experience is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Fine dexterity with both hands and very good eyesight.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and reach up to 30 inches.
