Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Program Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing infection prevention strategies, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient safety, and analyzing data to inform quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and mitigate infection risks
  • Analyze data to inform quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention best practices
  • Conduct surveillance and outbreak investigations to identify and contain infections
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in infection prevention or a related field
  • Knowledge of epidemiological principles and adult learning concepts
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) from the Certified Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC)
