Position Overview:

As an SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash Commerce Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the client workstream lead to facilitate the design of the Global Template during the migration from ECC to S/4HANA. Your role will involve working alongside a team of professionals to ensure a seamless transition of data pertinent to this workstream while supporting the testing of business processes within the solution.

***Availability for on-site presence is required for a minimum of three full workdays each week.***

Key Focus Areas of the Commerce Workstream:

  • Develop and manage communications with vendors regarding project impacts on their processes, ensuring clear capture of requirements across all divisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as the Commerce workstream intersects with other SAP workstreams: P2P, F2S, O2C Operations, and R2R.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Commercial Roadmap processes and work with the team to ensure the Global Template aligns with business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage with relevant Parallel Project Workstreams, tracking dependencies and interactions among over 30 concurrent projects.
  • Design and govern Customer Hierarchy in accordance with the new organizational structure.
  • Support Business Cutover tasks, ensuring timely communication and planning as the solution approaches the go-live phase.
  • Participate in Data Migration Activities, collaborating with data teams and business experts to cleanse and prepare data for migration.
  • Ensure all processes and data related to Pricing and Rebates are accurately captured and tested.
  • Contribute to the development of S4 Commercial Analytics and pBI workstream requirements.
  • Define and understand the new Global Template solution for on-off invoice processes, ensuring comprehensive testing and involvement of cross-functional teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and objectives related to the Order to Cash Commerce workstream.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, collaborating with leads to find resolutions.
  • Create and maintain a detailed workplan for deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones.
  • Provide insights for business process improvements with the adoption of the Global Template, leveraging prior implementation experience.
  • Engage with international teams to learn from their experiences in overcoming challenges related to the Global Template.
  • Support the adoption of the established Global Template for S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Assist in data cleansing efforts, focusing on master data, pricing, and transactional data.
  • Implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality during migration.
  • Collaborate with the NEO Project team and Testing Team to ensure Test Scripts and Test Cases reflect necessary nuances.
  • Encourage effective planning for test execution and support re-testing efforts.
  • Document all test defects thoroughly to facilitate resolution by the Solution Team.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and business simulations to ensure end-user understanding of new processes.
  • Work with the Adoption Team to validate training materials that support user adaptation to new workflows.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including Technology, Functional, Security, Global, and vendor partners, to execute the conversion project.
  • Adapt to ambiguity, providing structure to the workstream for successful project outcomes.
  • Offer post-go-live support, addressing any issues or enhancements as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of business processes, e-commerce, and last-mile delivery.
  • SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in SAP projects, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and commerce.
  • Solid understanding of vendor and customer relationships within the context of S/4HANA.
  • Experience in global-scale projects is advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of maintaining a detailed workplan aligned with project milestones.
  • Ability to influence without authority, lead meetings effectively, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
  • Comfortable participating in virtual meetings via MS Teams.
  • Ability to adapt to the culture and organization of a retail client environment.
