Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at University Hospitals. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to critically ill children.

Responsibilities:

* Implement the nursing process to deliver effective, relationship-based nursing care to patients and families
* Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery, resulting in safe practice and positive care outcomes
* Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and clinical operations
* Develop self and contribute to the professional practice of nursing
* Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes

Requirements:

* Licensed RN with 1 year of experience required
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; minimum of Diploma/Associate's Degree in nursing from an accredited program
* Current license to practice in the state of Ohio
* Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required based on clinical area standards
