Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client in Newton, Massachusetts.
Job SummaryThe Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery department. This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
