We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Suppression Specialist to join our team at Summit Fire & Security. As a Fire Suppression Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pre-engineered fire suppression systems, as well as other fire protection equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair pre-engineered fire suppression systems, including pipes, valves, and sprinklers.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of fire suppression systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fires or system malfunctions, and take corrective action to prevent damage or injury.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all fire protection equipment is properly installed, maintained, and inspected.
- Develop and implement plans to improve fire protection systems and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fire suppression systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Knowledge of fire protection codes and regulations, including NFPA 13 and 25.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
