About the Role
We are seeking a Deli Supervisor to join our team As a Deli Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising team members in the hot deli area and ensuring that food is fresh and the area is clean and well-stocked. You will work closely with the Deli Manager to maintain high standards of food safety and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of food safety standards and experience in the food service industry. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and interact with different levels of staff, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise team members in the hot deli area
- Ensure that food is fresh and the area is clean and well-stocked
- Work closely with the Deli Manager to maintain high standards of food safety and customer service
- Provide excellent guest service and maintain a customer-focused culture
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar position, especially with a restaurant or foodservice background
- Incredible customer service skills and ability to help maintain a customer-focused culture
- Ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards
- Must be able to work as part of a team and interact with different levels from hourly team members, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives
